I last posted on Sept. 29, 2009 and it was one of those common “sorry I’m not blogging much, life is busy, I’ll do better” posts. The last time I posted good, meaty content was Aug. 8, 2009. It’s been exactly 18 months since I last posted here. A lot can happen in 18 months.

When I abandoned this blog, I was working at a community college as a full-time math tutor and living with my parents. Now, I work at that same college as an adviser and tutoring coordinator and am currently buying a house with my new wife!

As far as pen and paper gaming is concerned. The group I was DM’ing for has split up. There were too many people coming from too many far flung places to be consistent. I was involved as a player, in a group that fluctuated between 4 and 10 players, for over a year. I played a Dwarf Cleric, specialized entirely in healing. That group is still going, although we haven’t played for a few months due to scheduling conflicts. I have recently started DM’ing again for a group of 5 people. We’re playing a homebrew campaign I’ve written called “Weights and Measures.”

Next time, I’ll talk about my electronic gaming and some of the other exciting things I’ve gone through.
